Levitra, is an erectile dysfunction drug with the generic name Vardenafil.  It works mainly by relaxing the muscles surrounding blood vessels in the penis. This makes it so the penis gets erect easier.   Levitra is more effective than Viagra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, mainly through increased action at the site, and an increased bioavailability.  Because it is more potent, Levitra is not recommended in high doses.
